Unless the note above states otherwise; example early Saturday morning games and practices may go ahead as planned if temps are rising. WEEKEND AT THE PARK
Volunteer Clean Up Day was a HUGE SUCCESS. Many thanks, to Erik Petersen one of SLL's newest board member, for suggesting this great idea. The registration building and equipment rooms have never looked better! One of our generous sponsors, Jet's Pizza, delivered piping hot pizza's for the hungry crew. Volumteerism is alive and well at SLL. If you have an idea that would help make our Park and League the best it can be, please let us know! You may contact any of our board members, they are willing to go to bat for you. Along with the clean up work going on, all fields were full with team's practicing. Getting ready for their season opener next Saturday, after our Parade of Teams and Opening Ceremonies. Yep, it's beginning to feel a lot like baseball season. Hey Little Leaguer, think you have the best MOM in the World? If you can tell us why, in 40 words or less, you could win a TRIP for 3 to the Little League World Series.
